what to expect at your appointment
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Treatment:

Schedule your PRP appointment at least two weeks before any special event, as swelling and bruising may occur during this time.

To help minimize bruising or bleeding, avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, ginkgo biloba, garlic, ginseng, St. John’s Wort, flax oil, cod liver oil, vitamins A and E, and other essential fatty acids for 3 days to 1 week before and after treatment. Please consult your primary care provider before discontinuing any medications.

Starting arnica supplements at least two days prior to treatment may help reduce bruising.

Treatment cannot be performed on areas with an active rash or infection.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, clearance from your OB-GYN is required prior to treatment.

Schedule your appointment at least two weeks before any special event, as redness, swelling, and bruising may be visible during this time.
