what to expect at your chemical peel appointment

Avoid Accutane for 6-12 months prior to treatment.

Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores; an antiviral medication may be recommended.

Avoid sun exposure 1 week pre-treatment.

Avoid artificial tanners 2 weeks pre-treatment.

Avoid topical retinoids, hydroquinone, cortisone, benzoyl peroxide, scrubs, AHA's and BHA's for 2 days prior.
