what to expect at your chemical peel appointment

Schedule your chemical peel at least two weeks before any special event, as redness, dryness, and peeling may occur during this time.

Avoid Accutane for at least six months prior to treatment.

Refrain from IPL/BBL photofacials, laser treatments, and waxing for two weeks before your appointment.

Discontinue the use of topical retinoids one week prior to treatment.

Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores; an antiviral medication may be recommended.

Treatment cannot be performed on areas with an active rash or infection.
